Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) at the Poplar Bluff VA Medical Center in Missouri is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker Supervisor to deliver fast-paced service to America’s Heroes.

The ideal candidate will have customer service excellence, the ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation, and willingness to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Real ID is required to work at VCS; prior food service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend frequently.

• Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
