Job summary

Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) at the Columbus, OH VA Medical Center is hiring full-time Food Service Workers to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, reading instructions, basic math for food prep, and strong customer service skills to assist America’s Heroes.

A REAL ID is required to work at VCS. Previous food service experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided on-site.

Qualifications

• A current, valid REAL ID is required to work at Veterans Canteen Service.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
