A financial services firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The role involves reconciling transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining investor information, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP. A successful candidate will have strong client-facing experience, ideally coupled with a CPA or MBA. The salary range is competitive, from $70,000 to $110,000, along with participation in the firm's bonus program and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration.
• External auditor experience is a plus.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client.
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements.
• Maintain legal documents and prepare for audits.
