Job summary

VC Stack in Los Altos, California is seeking a VC Associate intern for the summer of 2025. This role is ideal for rising 2nd year MBA students, PhDs and post-docs. The intern will support sourcing, conduct due diligence on deal flow and perform sector analyses.

The ideal candidate will have strong strategy and finance skills, domain expertise in deep tech, and a demonstrated interest in early-stage investing. This is a full-time internship in-person preferred.

Responsibilities

Sourcing, due diligence on deal flow, sector analysis and portfolio support. The intern will function as a VC Associate supporting the investment team, with the potential to run a deal end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Strong strategy and finance skills (preferred previous investment, consulting or operations experience).
• Domain knowledge in deep tech (eg., photonics, carbon neutralization, energy, semiconductors, quantum computing, etc).
• Demonstrated interest in early-stage investing.
• Domain expertise in areas related to Foothill Ventures’ portfolio viewed favorably.
• Aspiration to become full-time VC after graduation.
