Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Fund Controller to manage the full financial lifecycle of a portfolio of venture funds. You will handle partnership accounting, monthly close, and LP communications, delivering fund-level reporting with accuracy and timeliness.

You will be a trusted operator for GPs, working in a hybrid environment and influencing back-office standards as growth accelerates. Relevant startup experience is highly valued, CPA/CMA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5-9 years of relevant experience from a VC/PE fund or Fund Admin.
• Startup experience is required.
• Desire to work in entrepreneurial small business setting.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Job Description

We're looking for a Fund Controller who can run the full financial lifecycle of a portfolio of venture funds: from partnership accounting and monthly close to LP communications and fund-level reporting. You won't just maintain the books, you'll be a trusted operator that GPs actually lean on.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-9 years of relevant experience from a VC/PE fund or Fund Admin
• Previous experience from a startup is required
• Desire to work in entrepreneurial small business setting
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
