Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in New York, NY to support cash transactions, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and the preparation of financial statements for a premier private capital fund administrator.

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). This role offers exposure to buyout, real estate, credit, and other alternative asset strategies.

Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions and perform bank reconciliations
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare and set up workpapers and checklists
• Prepare financial statements and related footnotes
• Prepare partner capital account information
• Process investor capital calls and distributions
• Liaise directly with clients' independent auditors
