Job description

Vista Endeavor Fund seeks to recruit an outstanding Associate to join its investment team. The successful candidate will be involved with investment sourcing, due diligence, and deal execution, and working closely with portfolio companies within the enterprise software and/or related technology-enabled services industries.

The Associate program is a 2–3-year commitment. Given the unique investing philosophy and operating model that Vista employs, the firm invests heavily in the development of all of its professionals and seeks candidates who have a preference for building a long-term career within the Vista family.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute on investment opportunities in the technology industry (incl. platform and add-on investments)
• Conduct due diligence and develop detailed operating and financial models
• Develop investment theses to target new investment opportunities
• Work closely with Board Members and the Value Creation Team to implement operational best practices
• Analyze and help execute potential exit opportunities

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, buyout, growth investing or other relevant investing experience
• Exceptional analytical, financial, and business judgment skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interest in investing, financial markets, and technology industry sectors and trends
• High level of personal and professional maturity
• Exceptional work ethic and a deep sense of accountability
• Demonstrated ability to internalize feedback and improve through coaching and training

Company Overview

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $120,000-140,000. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
