Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. is seeking a VB.NET Developer in Albany, NY to participate in backend development, analysis, and deployment for a government client.

You will gather requirements, develop in VB.NET/C#, and perform Oracle PL/SQL programming while ensuring ITS standards. You will also coordinate with the Cognos reporting team and support 1200 users statewide.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications utilizing VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or above.
• 84 months experience with relational database design & deployment of sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL packages, XML type stored procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
• 84 months experience writing and developing Web Services or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• 84 months packaging, coordinating and deploying code base through environments including production.
• 84 months experience working directly with customers to identify their business processes, rules, and understand application user requirements and issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.

Description:

• Work independently on requirements gathering, analysis, documenting logical design and functional design.
• Perform intricate VB.Net development and deployment.
• Oracle PL/SQL programming.
• Maintain system currency and compliance with ITS standards, hardware, software and security practices.
• Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
• System troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Process Help Desk tickets and service requests for its 1200 users statewide.
• Coordinate and assist Cognos team with report requests.

Mandatory Qualification:

• Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications utilizing VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or above.
• 84 months experience with relational database design & deployment of sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL writing packages, XML type stored procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
