Qualifications

• 60 months experience in VB and Microsoft Access.
• 24 months experience in ASP.NET, SQL databases, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience in rewriting legacy applications, especially VB migrations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of existing software to identify bugs and performance issues.
• Fix issues such as incorrect data processing and UI glitches.

VB.NET Programmer (Access / ASP.NET / SQL)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a VB.NET Programmer in Highland, NY.

Description:

Update code of existing software to eliminate issues and create reports and filters for users to generate reports at will.

Responsibilities:

• Code Review and Debugging: Conduct reviews of the existing in-house program's codebase to identify bugs, performance issues, or outdated components. Fix issues such as incorrect data processing, UI glitches, or system integration failures.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Experience in computer software development, with specialization or broad skills in various software types.
• Ability to work independently and guide others; advanced education preferred.
• 60 months experience in VB and Microsoft Access.
• 24 months experience in ASP.NET, SQL databases, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience in rewriting legacy applications, especially VB migrations.
• Proven debugging skills and relevant project references.
• Bachelor’s Degree and relevant certifications in Microsoft or web/database development.
