Under supervision and in accordance with procedures and systems, receive members in person and by telephone. Perform a variety of duties to provide services to the member, keeping accurate records of vault transactions, including receiving and paying transactions.

Pay Type: Full Time

Pay: $16.44-24.62/hr
40 Hours/Week

Position Requirements

General Purpose: Under supervision and in accordance with procedures and systems, receive members in person and by telephone. Perform a variety of duties to provide services to the member, keeping accurate records of vault transactions including receiving and paying transactions.

Fundamental Duties:

• Maintain the highest standards of Integrity, Personal Responsibility, Sense of Community, and Teamwork by self-example within and outside Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union.
• Build member loyalty through an uncompromised commitment to meeting and exceeding members’ expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to sell additional credit union products and services.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of all operating materials used by assigned employees.
• Perform all Teller functions.
• Coordinate the ordering and security of negotiable instruments. Reconcile VISA payments, Visa advances to general ledger per procedure.
• Manage vault cash including ordering currency, rolled and loose coin, along with shipping coin and currency. Verify Fed order and balance vault daily, issuing currency orders and replenishments to and from tellers. Assist in ensuring teller cash drawers are in conformance with bonding limits.
• Handle Cash Management by ordering and recording the flow of money in and out of the branch under supervision.
• Assist in replenishing and balancing Cash Dispense Machines or Teller Cash Recyclers, where applicable.

ATM-Proof Duties

Balance ATM daily, ensure adequate cash supply, and make adjustments to member accounts if necessary.

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Research account information or discrepancies for members at their request.
• Close accounts upon request, following procedures.
• Count, sort, and wrap coin received as necessary.
• Ensure all security measures are in place, including alarm systems and bait money.
• Perform delegated duties assigned by management.
