Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Vault Custodian to help maintain inventory in our cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role involves counting, sealing, and recording deposits, and coordinating with teammates and clients on routes.

The position requires stamina for long shifts, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand for most of the day, with potential 40–50 hour weeks. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload bags/boxes weighing about 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to push/pull carts and transport heavy cargo.
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, stand, and reach during shifts.
• Ability to sign, record numbers by hand, and prepare reports.
• Meet state requirements for handgun license/permit or security commission.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers/seals on bags against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts, and sign receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with currency bags.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with team and customers.
• Maintain accurate records and balance numbers as required.
