Job summary

Loomis is seeking an AM Shift Vault Lead to oversee vault operations and inventory for our cash handling service in Maryland. You will supervise a small team, ensure accurate counting, and maintain tight control of cash and valuables in a secure environment.

Key duties include verifying receipts, loading/unloading currency bags, and coordinating daily routes. The role requires strong physical stamina and precise record-keeping as part of a security‑critical operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly while handling bags, currency, checks and coin.
• Proven ability to read, sign and record numbers accurately.
• Strong English communication with coworkers and customers.
• Comfort with repetitive physical tasks and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers.
• Check bags against receipts and manifests.
• Count items, record amounts, and sign receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload bags/boxes from wagons or carts.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with teammates and customers.
