Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian to maintain inventory in our cash vaults. You will work with a team to check seals, count deposits, and ensure accurate records. The role involves loading/unloading currency, checks, and coin using carts and manually handling bags.

Responsibilities include meticulous counting, sign-off on receipts and manifests, and coordinating with teammates. Dry, secure facility work with physical duties is required, including long shifts on concrete floors.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity and ability to read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to maintain posture and mobility during long shifts.
• Capacity to lift and transfer bags/boxes weighing ~50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to sign and record numbers by hand and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in vaults for Loomis customers.
• Check bag seals and counts against receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload bags and coin shipments; move cargo with carts.
• Sort cargo by route; communicate with coworkers and customers as needed.
