Job summary

Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma is seeking a Vault Clerk to work in the Casino Vault, reporting to the Vault Supervisor or Vault Manager.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and a Thursday-Monday shift from 11:45pm to 8:15am. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available.

Responsibilities include handling cash procedures, maintaining records, and supporting casino operations as directed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ten-key entry by touch.
• Ability to enter, access, or retrieve data using computers.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling.
• Proficient in general computer usage.
• One year of cash handling or teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer authorized inquiries regarding vault procedures.
• Issue banks and draws to cashiers and tellers.
• Keep monetary dispensers full and functioning.
• Issue checks from Vault as requested by the Casino General Manager.
• Assist with other tasks designated by management.
• Maintain records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transactions reconciliations; fill/maintain ATMs, kiosks, Recycler and Dyna Cash Machines.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Vault Clerk, you will work within the Casino Vault. You will report to the Vault Supervisor or Vault Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1. You will answer authorized inquiries regarding general vault procedures.
2. Issue \"banks\" and \"draw\" to cashiers and tellers.
3. Keep all monetary dispensers full and functioning.
4. Issue checks from Vault as requested by the Casino General Manager.
5. Help with work areas as designated by management.
6. You will keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transactions reconciliations and fill/maintain ATM's, Kiosks, Recycler, and Dyna Cash Machines.
7. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Ten-key proficiency (By Touch)
• Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
• Basic math skills
• General computer skills required
• One (1) year experience in cash handling, cashiering, teller, and bank experience preferred.
