Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to perform general and vascular exams, position patients, operate equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic recordings.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI/ARRT certification within 90 days of hire, completion of an accredited vascular ultrasound program, BCLS certification, and proficient PACS data transmission; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RVT(ARDMS), RVS (CCI) or VS (ARRT) certification required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited vascular ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Current experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in performing all general and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
