Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Vascular Sonography Technologist to perform specialized vascular ultrasound examinations and support physicians in a fast-paced academic medical center.

You will collaborate with vascular surgeons, nurses, and imaging professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies while providing compassionate patient care and education. The role supports professional growth within a respected lab and a Monday–Friday schedule with limited on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area of specialty as required by position.
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification required; additional requirements specified by position.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations utilizing advanced imaging technology.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies that support timely clinical decision making.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals.
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Apply sound clinical judgment while evaluating complex vascular findings.
