Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations and generate high-quality images at our Haverhill location. You will collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, RDMS/RVT credentials and a state sonographer license, with onsite responsibilities in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Prepare patients for vascular ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, positioning patients appropriately, and applying ultrasound gel.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, including transducers, monitors, and related imaging systems, to obtain diagnostic images of blood vessels and surrounding anatomy.
• Perform vascular ultrasound studies in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review ultrasound images to identify normal and abnormal vascular findings and ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
• Document exam findings, patient information, and procedure details accurately in the medical record and applicable imaging systems.
• Communicate exam findings and relevant patient information to physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain equipment readiness, cleanliness, and safety; report equipment issues or quality concerns as appropriate.
• Support efficient patient flow by coordinating with clinical, administrative, and scheduling teams as needed.
