Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform vascular ultrasound studies and related non-imaging tests across a busy hospital setting. You will operate equipment, document results and work with physicians, sonographers and trainees to ensure accurate, timely exams.

The role requires RVT/RVS certification and BLS, with on-site responsibilities that may include operating rooms and intensive care units as needed.

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration or RVS per ARDMS/CCI.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general procedures according to established departmental protocols.
• Performs ultrasound procedures and non-imaging studies for vascular and other areas as required.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and supports in various hospital locations including OR and ICUs.
