Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist for the Surgical Vascular Lab on-site. This per diem, day-shift position performs vascular ultrasound studies and related non-imaging testing per department protocols, operating ultrasound equipment, and supporting room coverage across the hospital.

Requirements include specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college, RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) registration, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• RVT Registration (ARDMS) or RVS Registration (CCI) is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general ultrasound procedures and non-imaging studies according to department protocols.
• Operates all types of ultrasound equipment and records images.
• Serves as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students.
