Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a qualified vascular ultrasound technologist to assess and perform vascular exams for a broad patient population. You will record exam results for interpretation by the Medical Director and assist with data collection for statistical purposes.

The role requires an allied health education background, RVT/RVS eligibility within 3–9 months of hire, BLS/CPR compliance, and ongoing competency training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health field program.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• RVT or RVS certification within 3 months of hire.
• BLS and CPR certification within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of cerebrovascular, peripheral and abdominal vascular anatomy.
• Records medical history, indication for exam, and physical evaluation.
• Performs calibrations, inspections and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Performs vascular procedures with proficiency and safety.
• Completes competency validation and OSHA requirements annually.
• Contributes to Quality Improvement per hospital guidelines.
