Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville seeks an experienced vascular ultrasound technologist to perform non-invasive vascular exams and document findings for medical review.

The role requires graduation from an allied health program with an associate degree preferred, and RVT or RVS eligibility within 3 months of hire (or RVT/RVS within 9 months if already registered elsewhere). BLS within 2 weeks, CPR certification, and equal employment opportunity employer status are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health field program.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Must be registered or be eligible for RVT or RVS within 3 months of hire.
• If registered in other ultrasound registries (RDMS-AB, RDMS, RDCS, or RCS) must obtain RVT/RVS within 9 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire.
• Graduates of an accredited vascular ultrasound program must be registered within 3 months of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the vascular system according to the exam ordered.
• Perform vascular exams in a professional manner with technical accuracy.
• Record exam results for interpretation by the Medical Director.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for statistics.
