Job summary

Mercy Health - Youngstown is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment. You will ensure patient data accuracy, procedure prep, and adherence to imaging standards in a fast-paced vascular department.

The role requires an Associate's degree in an applied health science with a vascular technology focus, and licensure in vascular technology within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in an applied health science with specialization in cardiovascular technology or ultrasonography.
• Licensure/certification in vascular technology preferred within 1 year of hire (RVT/ARDMS/ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of Vascular department.
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient/procedural data.
• Handles patient documentation, procedure prep and instructions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation criteria.
• On-Call is required.
