Job summary

The Vascular Technologist at Mercy Health performs diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams on patients using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment. The role requires knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation criteria, and includes on-call duties.

Education includes an Associate's degree in an applied health science with concentration in cardiovascular technology or ultrasonography.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an applied health science field with concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study (required).
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures and interpretation criteria is essential.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of the Vascular department.
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient and procedural data.
• Manages patient documentation, procedure preparation and instructions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation criteria.
• On-Call is required.
