Job summary

The Vascular Technologist at Bon Secours Mercy Health performs diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment in Franklin, VA. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an applied health science field with concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study is required.
• Credentialed in vascular technology (RVT/ARDMS/ARRT) within 1 year.
• BLS certification preferred, required prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of Vascular department.
• Confirms the quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient and procedural data.
• Responsible for patient documentation, procedure preparation and instructions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation criteria.
• On-Call is required.
