Qualifications

• AS degree in diagnostic ultrasound or certificate from an accredited school
• RDMS/abdominal preferred within six years; RVT within one year of hire; BLS within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Performs carotid, abdominal aorta, renal artery and peripheral vascular ultrasounds.
• Evaluates tests and provides preliminary reports to physicians.
• Notifies physicians of urgent results when necessary.
• Maintains logs and ensures completed studies are available to cardiologist/radiologist.
• Orders and stocks supplies; maintains equipment and quality control standards.
• Performs Point of Care ultrasound per established policies.
