Job summary

Texas Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations including arterial and venous studies, venous reflux imaging, and carotid duplex imaging. The role requires independent workflow management and a commitment to patient safety and high‑quality imaging.

On-site onboarding and protocol training are provided, followed by independent work with ongoing clinical leadership support.

Qualifications

• Current RVT or RVS credential.
• 1+ year of vascular ultrasound experience.
• Proficiency in venous reflux insufficiency imaging and arterial duplex imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations according to protocols.
• Greet patients and prepare them for examinations.
• Document findings and relay information to physicians.
• Save images to PACS and maintain records.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform QC activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe examination room and assist with equipment upkeep.
