Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform full-range ultrasound procedures in a multi-department setting. You will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate documentation while coordinating with clinicians and the IT systems for ordering and charges.

Qualifications include RDMS (AB), RDMS-OBGYN, RVT/RT(VS)/RVS, and BLS CPR. A High School diploma is required, with readiness to work day shifts and participate in performance improvements.

Qualifications

• RDMS (AB) certification is required.
• RDMS-OBGYN certification is required.
• RVT or RT(VS) or RVS certifications are required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend department meetings and support department objectives.
• Obtain high-quality scans following exam protocols.
• Verify patient/exam accuracy using two identifiers.
• Document and report procedures per policy.
• Review images and re-scan as needed; notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and maintain infection control.
