Job summary

Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support two surgical programs in Bakersfield, California. This full-time position offers exposure to vascular surgery and trauma/acute care surgery with inpatient care, OR support, outpatient clinics, and postoperative follow-up.

Qualifications

PA-C or NP required with board certification and CA license.
Experience in vascular surgery or trauma/ACS preferred.
Ability to work across two surgical services and settings.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and outpatient vascular care
Assist with open and endovascular procedures
Participate in inpatient rounds and consultations
Support operating room and outpatient surgery activities
Coordinate perioperative and postoperative patient care
Assist trauma/ACS patients in ED and inpatient settings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and discharge planning
