Responsibilities include perioperative assessment, planning and delivering patient-centered care, while adhering to standards. Florida RN license, BLS, and PALS are required; CNOR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license with AHA BLS and PALS.
• CNOR preferred.

The Surgical Services RN works collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and other health team members to determine the patient’s individual needs preoperatively and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of clinical nursing care and utilization of the nursing process.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• Current Florida RN license, AHA BLS Certification, PALS

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNOR Certification Preferred.
