Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer to provide and manage patient care in a clinical area, perform technologist duties, document results, and enter data with ICD-9 and CPT codes. This role requires ARDMS/CCI certification or registry eligibility, CPR certification, and a high school diploma.

The pay range is $29.25 to $47.55 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently Registered Vascular Technologist or registry eligible.
• RVT/ARDMS/CCI certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area and age-specific populations.
• Document patient and test information accurately and enter data with ICD-9 and CPT codes.
• Demonstrate professional communication and teamwork within the multidisciplinary team.

Education
