Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a vascular technologist to perform non-invasive vascular exams, including transcranial Doppler studies, in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role emphasizes accurate data, patient safety, and thorough documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 18 months vascular experience and TCD proficiency; RVT/RVS or equivalent credentialing is preferred or to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eighteen months vascular experience; recent hospital experience as a vascular technologist.
• Minimum six months TCD experience; ability to perform Transcranial Doppler studies.
• Credentialing in vascular testing (RVT, RVS) or must attain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular exams and transcranial Doppler testing per policy.
• Prepare complete reports and route studies to physicians.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Notify referring physician of preliminary findings and critical results.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
