Job summary

Bethesda North Hospital seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform and interpret non-invasive vascular studies, supporting accurate diagnoses. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, and may mentor new technologists and students while contributing to research efforts.

The role emphasizes adherence to IAC standards and TriHealth Cardiovascular Testing Services guidelines in a full-time capacity with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Allied Health required.
• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• RVT designation from ARDMS and/or RVS from CCI required.
• Solid understanding of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
• 1–2 years in a related clinical Allied Health field.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive vascular testing and interprets results.
• Identifies when additional testing may be needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to aid accurate diagnoses.
• Mentors technologists and students when appropriate.
• Participates in quality improvement and research initiatives.
