Responsibilities
Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is currently seeking a full-time Vascular Technologist for our Franciscan Vascular Lab in Tacoma, WA. This is a full-time position in a busy and fast-paced department. We have a team-based environment in a growing vascular service line which includes 26 techs and 5 vascular surgeons. No weekends or organizationally recognized holidays required!
Job Summary
Performs diagnostic non-invasive testing procedures to provide essential information regarding blood supply to and from the tissues of the extremities and vital organs, and the degree and character of any obstruction under the direction of a licensed physician. Work includes reviewing patient history, preparing patients, performing clinical procedures, and compiling data for physician interpretation. Keeps skills current and demonstrates continuing education.
