Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Columbia, SC is hiring a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies and support vein disease treatment decisions. The role emphasizes quality imaging, adherence to protocols, and professional patient care.

Candidates should have an Associates Degree (preferred) with noninvasive vascular study training and will work Monday-Thursday, 6:45am-5:30pm, benefiting from a 4-day work week and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience performing diagnostic venous studies and venous insufficiency assessment.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and acquire quality hemodynamic data.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality for physician interpretation.
• Maintain high standard of medical ethics and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
