Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for vascular and cardiovascular patients. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and educate patients and families on illness management and medication administration.

The role requires an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of vascular/cardiovascular or critical care experience.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required; arterial line monitoring and pacer wires preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for vascular and cardiovascular surgeries (aneurysm repair, carotid interventions, dialysis access, thrombolysis, bypasses).
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing vascular and cardiovascular surgeries, including procedures such as aneurysm repair, carotid interventions, dialysis access, thrombolysis, and bypasses.
Utilizes critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Engages in patient and family education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration, promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Requires an RN license, with preferred qualifications including a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience. Certification in BLS, ACLS, arterial line monitoring, and pacer wires is necessary. Critical care training is preferred.
