The Cardiovascular Care Group in New Jersey seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join its vascular care team. The role supports physicians in patient evaluation, surgical assistance, inpatient management, and patient education across office and hospital settings.

The successful candidate has at least two years as a PA in a hospital, with vascular surgery experience preferred. You will work with supervising physicians to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction, including

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification and NJ PA licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of PA hospital experience.
• Vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients, obtain histories, perform exams, and document findings.
• Coordinate hospital admissions with supervising physician.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care per protocols.
• Conduct daily rounds and develop treatment plans with physicians.
• Provide intraoperative assistance and postoperative support.
• Perform procedures within scope (central venous catheter, arterial line, venipuncture, EKG, Foley, wound care).
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
• Participate in discharge planning and communication with staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and patient-satisfaction initiatives.
