MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team in a PRN capacity. The role focuses on pre- and post-operative care, care planning, H&Ps, patient education, and urgent clinical inquiries.

Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends with a commitment of at least one shift per week. Background in vascular surgery or surgical settings is preferred, but new graduates are considered.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with vascular surgery experience preferred.
• PRN role with at least one shift per week.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-op care, document progress notes, and provide patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operative assessments and care planning.
• Determine and document plan of care and H&Ps.
• Document progress notes and ensure accurate medical records.
