Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the vascular surgical outpatient service. You will conduct histories and exams, order tests, prescribe treatments, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform minor procedures, provide education to staff and students, participate in research projects, and ensure compliance with HIPAA. ACLS certification and RI licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• Current Rhode Island CRNP or PA licensure.
• Current DEA licensure.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient surgical care including history, exams, labs, orders, and referrals.
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care and incision/drainage.
• Educate nurses and precept students; collaborate with surgical team.
• Maintain HIPAA training and continuing education; participate in research.
