Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide continuity of care for vascular surgery patients in outpatient settings, conducting exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating treatment.

The role includes education of nurses and students, participation in research, HIPAA training, annual goals with physicians, and ongoing credential maintenance; ACLS is required and driving is expected.

Formación

• RN-AP/NP or PA licensure in RI.
• Current DEA licensure.
• ACLS certification required.
• Continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient vascular surgical service care, including history, exams, labs, prescriptions, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals and education for patients and families.
• Serve as a preceptor/educator for nurses, medical students, and NP/PA students.
• Participate in research studies and maintain HIPAA compliance training.
