Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our vascular surgery team. The role primarily assists vascular surgeons in the operating room, hospital, and clinic, handling a broad spectrum of vascular conditions and performing first and second assisting duties for routine and complex procedures.

Requirements include 1+ year in vascular surgery PA/NP, completion of an accredited PA/NP program, ACLS/BLS, board

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience preferred in PA/NP role in vascular surgery.
• Certain credentialing in vascular surgery preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical histories and physical exams.
• Record findings and plan of care.
• Write prescriptions and administer medications.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Determine treatment plans and document care.
• Advise and advocate for patients; participate in policy development.
