Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant IV to support patient care under the direction of a Practice Manager or Provider. This role expands beyond MA I-III, serving in leadership across multiple specialty areas and supervising clinic ambassadors and preceptors.

The position may include floating to other clinics as needed and requires extensive prior MA experience and certification as detailed in the qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 3 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under supervision and delegation.
• Lead MA responsibilities including overseeing ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.
• Possible floating to other clinics as needed.
