The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Washington invites applications for a full‑time Vascular Surgery Inpatient/Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at the University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center. Successful candidates will be expected to support the department's commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community.
This position provides a faculty appointment at the rank of Teaching Associate in the Department of Surgery with an anticipated start date in Fall 2026. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
The base salary range for this position will be: $10,834 - $15,391 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
Relocation assistance may be available for out-of-state candidates.
The Vascular Surgery Service Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a member of the Vascular Surgery multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, fellows, and RNs providing medical/surgical management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent and collaborative patient management throughout the continuum of inpatient and outpatient care at Harborview Medical Center.
