Job summary

The University of Washington invites applications for a full-time Vascular Surgery Inpatient/Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Harborview Medical Center. Teaching Associate appointment with a Fall 2026 start is anticipated.

You will provide independent and collaborative patient management across inpatient and outpatient care as part of the Vascular Surgery Service Advanced Practice Provider team, with opportunities for education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current and valid WA State RN licensure for ARNP or PA-C.
• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA and eligible for DEA.
• Experience in vascular surgery preferred; motivated new graduates with relevant vascular training considered.

Responsibilities

• Work on a dedicated vascular surgery inter‑professional team with physicians, fellows and nurses.
• Provide a full spectrum of care for vascular surgery patients.
• Participate in education of nursing and resident staff.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and process improvement activities.
• Performs other related duties as required.
