Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery inpatient service. The role is full-time, four days a week with some weekends and holidays, and involves rounds, consults, and perioperative care in ICU and acute care settings.

The candidate will work closely with the Piedmont Heart Institute team to deliver high-quality patient care, participate in clinics weekly, and contribute to teaching and leadership

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification.
• RN with state GA licensure and Acute Care NP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds and assist in management of pre and post-operative patients.
• Evaluate consults, post-operative and preoperative patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting.
• Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in ICU and acute care settings.
• Participate in clinic at least once a week.
• Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization.

Education

Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program

Licensed as a Nurse and NP Georgia Acute Care National Certification
