Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Vascular Surgery inpatient service (Non-OR). This full-time role involves a four-day schedule with some weekends and holidays, rounds, consults, and involvement in outpatient and ICU care.

Applicants should have a PA degree with National Board Certification or be a GA-licensed NP with Acute Care certification. The position emphasizes patient care, teaching, and leadership within the team.

Formación

• Masters or Bachelor’s from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP in Georgia with Acute Care National Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Daily rounds and assist in management of pre- and post-operative patients.
• Evaluate consults, preoperative and postoperative patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide inpatient ICU/acute care support with specialized skills.
• Participate in clinic at least once a week.
• Contribute to patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provide leadership.

Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery service line team working at our Atlanta campus. This is full-time position, four days a week that includes some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily rounds and assist in management of pre and post-operative patients
• Evaluate consults, post-operative and preoperative patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting
• Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the both ICU and acute care settings
• Participates in clinic at leas once a week
• Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
