Job summary

UTMB's Division of Vascular Surgery in Galveston invites applications for an Open Rank vascular surgeon at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join the faculty. The selected candidate will provide direct patient care, including surgery and outpatient services, and participate in teaching activities with residents and students.

Candidates must be board eligible or certified in vascular surgery, have Fellowship training, hold Texas medical licensure, and demonstrate commitment to

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • Fellowship Training in Vascular Surgery.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.
  • Board certification or Board eligibility in Vascular Surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including surgical procedures and outpatient services.
  • Teach conferences, lectures, bedside instruction, rounds, and supervise residents and students.
  • Participate in departmental and health system committees and provide medical direction.
