Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for Sacramento, CA, to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes transitioning from emergencies to a no-call, weekday-focused practice while preserving vascular skills and surgical bedside procedures.

Open to full-time or part-time arrangements, with generous earning potential, including per-patient and per-procedure pay and quarterly bonuses. No prior wound care experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of wound care.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds including arterial, venous, and diabetic ulcers.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols; collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care settings.
