Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Vascular Surgeon in San Jose, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This no-call, weekday-focused role allows you to maintain surgical expertise without heavy after-hours demands.

The position offers part-time or full-time options, enabling a sustainable surgical career while keeping your practice active. MD/DO, unrestricted license, and DEA credentials are required; prior wound care experience is not mandatory as

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Vascular Surgeons of all backgrounds and provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow patients through healing.
