The Veterans Health Administration, Detroit VA Medical Center, is seeking a Physician-Vascular Surgeon to provide direct surgical care to inpatients and outpatients, supervise residents, and participate in education and research opportunities within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current medical licensure in the United States, board eligibility/certification in vascular surgery, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen status under VA policy.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a VA-approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Board eligibility/board certification in vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct vascular surgical care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Supervise residents and students in the operating room and clinics.
• Participate in education, research opportunities, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
