Job summary

The Huntington VA Healthcare System is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to provide direct patient care across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, cath lab, and operative settings within the medical center.

Duties include maintaining clinical competency, participating in program planning, and supervising learners, with a 7:30–4:00 schedule, Monday through Friday.VA benefits, EDRP/education loan repayment, and sign-on incentives may be available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Board certification in vascular surgery or eligibility.
• Active residency or training requirements completed as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, cath lab and operative settings.
• Maintain professional competency and participate in program planning and standards.
• Manage patient workload within staffing and supervise learners.
• Document encounters per guidelines and support CME activities.
